Here are a few of the pictures I took of the Space:1999 game I ran at Rock-Con this year. The game went pretty well. The players had fun and I was pleased enough to continue creating scenarios.
A spaceship has crashed into the surface of the moon. Commander Koenig sends three teams to investigate the crash site looking for survivors and/or supplies. The first scene takes place at the crash site. The bulk of the ship is nowhere to be found.
Here we see the teams searching the clumps of wreckage for survivors, and clues.

One team stumbles on a hovering drone hidden under some wreckage. It's whirring blades could easily tear a spacesuit.

After finding some strange radiation readings reflecting off two different pieces of wreckage, our heroes have found their way down into the ship, buried deep beneath the lunar surface.

There appear to be hover drones down here too.

One member of the team meets a bizarre alien beast. As he approaches it, the thing whines pitifully and runs away.

Someone tripped a switch. This activates a laser barrier across the doorway, trapping half the party in the room with the stone rhinoceros. (It's hard to see the black stone rhino against the black floor. Trust me, there's a stone rhino in the picture.)

It turns out there are human troopers in the spaceship as well. They don't seem any more friendly then the drones do.

From this picture you can see the cards at the edge of the board. I used Savage Worlds as the system, which uses playing cards for initiative. There's also a poker chip on the board. These are usually used for "Bennys" in the game. I've started using the red chips to mark the locations where NPCs suffer gory deaths. It doesn't happen that often in Space:1999, but you should see the battlefield after the Colonial Marines come through. Savage Worlds is my current favorite rules for running miniatures and RPGs. I tend to find one favorite rules system and run it into the ground.

And that's about it for pictures. I took a few more, but I just realized I didn't take any of the big bad guys from the end of the story. Maybe I'll take some more soon, and add them to this thread. This is the first time I've posted photos to this forum, so I hope they come out right.
