Women in Empire Line dresses
« on: 21 November 2011, 02:36:39 PM »
I've been looking, with no success, for a 28mm-ish mini of a woman in an Empire Line Dress (the Napoleonic/Regency style, gathered under the bust, as seen in a thousand Jane Austen adaptations).  I'm beginning to think that I'm going to have to convert a Crooked Dice Scary Statue!  Does anyone have any suggestions?
Back from the dead, almost.

This one from Redoubt Enterprises is the closest I can think of:

Not 100% correct but passable?

Thank you, guys.  That Space Vixens Bennet sister might work.

By the way, I've just found via TMP that Gary now has a proper webshop at

There are a few cantiniere figures.
And RAFM used to have a female (vampire?) years ago that might suit.

Eureka has one in the French Revolutionary range, you'll have to check my pre release posts a few months back I think, though my photography is poor. I am told there is a new civilian set in my next parcel, but it may be a few weeks away, fingers crossed it may have something. Their other women in the range have been in more lower class outfits. The lady vampires from the old Leading Edge Dracula set might well suit, though slight and more 25mm. I have no pics of them I would be deeply embarrassed sharing for the poor paint efforts.

Thanks all.  I've bought the Space Vixens Bennet sister.
