Saxon buildings how-to
« on: November 25, 2011, 12:11:17 PM »
Dear all,

I'm posting a short series of articles on my blog showing how to make a Grubenhaus

http://mitchwargaming.blogspot.com/2011/11/grubenhaus-part-1.html

Parts 2-3 will follow shortly.

Hope it helps / interests someone,

M
Measure with a micrometer, mark with chalk, cut with an axe, hammer to fit, paint to match!

Lovely building, looking forward to seeing more. That looked so simple I think I will have to make a try at one myself. ;)

Herby, have a go! It's as easy as it looks, and so cheap that even if the first one isn't perfect, youy can have several goes before you reach the cost of one commercial one.

Next up might be a Saxon church.
