I realize they're for the first Carlist wars, but muskets be muskets, and armed priests make for great characters in swashbuckling games!

Just enough there to make a Vatican Hit Squad for Gloire. :D

I particularely like the monk showing what he's got beneith.

Is the Napoleonic range 40mm? Lucky you then. The Perrys make awesome stuff but they do not match well eith most of my other stuff, sizewise.

Very nice - especially the friar with the brown tunic and musket.

I think that only the peninsula range is in 40mm, the other collections are 28mm
in their webstore they state if the range is 40mm, and let the customer assume the rest is in 28mm
Cheers,
Pedro

Two of these guys will be defending the Guardia Civil barracks together with some Carlist militia and the Anglian Miniatures priest.

Great stuff!

Well, Spencer Tracy- BTW one of my alltime favourite actors- studied to be a priest in real life.
I know he played a priest in San Francisco, The Devil at Four 'o Clock,
( magnificent film!) and of course the unforgettable Boys Town.

But the figure doesn't remind me of any of Tracy's characters. Somehow it does indeed look familiar , probably not Spencer Tracy but some other actor.

Romero? Mitchum? Quinn?

How about Bing Crosby in 'Going My Way'?
Why take Life seriously? You'll never get out of it alive!
