Snow Boarder Figures?
« on: 29 November 2011, 08:21:55 AM »
Does anyone make any Snowboarder/Skier figures? or miniatures in civilian snow gear that can be converted.

I would have thought that Studio would have released some to go with the WW2 Zombies & the fenris investigators are nice but not wearing the right kit.

Cheers

Citadel/GW did the Judge Dredd Sky Surfers way back in the 80's!

I don't know how easy they are to obtain now, but I would think they are pretty expensive...

Not sure if you mean to use as snow boarders or to use as snowgear clad soldiers.

Mark Copplestone does some skaters (on skateboards) - do they count?

Ok, they aren't smoking anywhere near enough weed to be snowboarders, but they are an urban blight around here.

That'll just give you snowdecks, (fun but no snowboard) also clothings all wrong.

Definately a market there for some snow weather civies not in parkers I reckon.

Not snow gear, but well wrapped against the cold?
These are from Hasslefree.
Not sure how suitable they are, but they're nice figures.

Just being nosey, are these for a particular project, or just to paint?

Excellent idea!

I've been after some skiers for years are never found something I am entirely happy with.

We've a 7TV snowbound Salute game this year and I using some Copplestone Neo Sovs and some other FW figs. I'm using the Fenris Apex Investigators as a mountain rescue type team too.

But none of those have skis I'm afraid.

They are on the CD wish list, but a fair way down :(
