Vampires in Leningrad
« on: 06 December 2007, 04:57:28 PM »
One of the local guys ran KeyanSark's Vampires in Leningrad scenario last night. I could not make the game, but Matthew sent along a couple of pictures from it.

You can check out the link talking about the scenario here:

In the mean time, here are the pictures.

Looks like an excellent game.  I love the vampire.  Anybody know who makes that's particular model?

Its the excellent "Vampire in man-bat form" from Heresy miniatures, just one of Andy's excellent Gothic sculpts.

Are the Vamps German, Romanian or just on the prowl?

I believe he played the vampires as Romanian in the scenario.

Yes, they are romanian vampires aided by zombies. There are only two soviet factions: one leaded by a comissar (more fearful thant the vampire!) and the other a penal batallion trying to escape from vampires and commisars together.

I know this is an old thread and raising it from the dead is threadomancy.

I stumbled across it while looking at the leningrad blue/white tank.

I really like the scenario

penal soldiers vs. commissar vs.  Undead.

Small table with hidden movement & counters.

So many great ideas to use.

And I've got to have that bat-vampire thingy

Thanks for the post,

Matt
