The mage reminds me a little of Merlin from the '80's film Excaliber.
The 'dwarf' I have my reservations about.
He could be a small human or halfling but not of the Dwarven Folk- No Beard!

Nice sculpts, though, plenty of character!

I like them both...very nicely detailed pieces with an abundance of character. The Dwarf would make a fine henchman/flunky.

Who says all dwarfs have to be Tolkien Dwarves?

The dwarfs in 'Slaine' are beardless. He actually kind of fits my mental image of the 'petty-dwarves' from 'The Silmarillion', too.

I stand corrected!

Maybe what I should have said is it is not a Dwarf as I immediately think of them.

As a Dwarf, that fella would not fit into my game world, but as a figure to use as creepy henchman type, as DeafNala suggests, he would be great!

They are both fantastic sculpts. I like the mage a lot. The dwarf reminds me of a "hollywood" rendition that never quite looks right as you watch the film, still a very nice model though.

Wonderful Mage, and sure I'll figure out what to use the short-ling for, as well.

Who did these? Steve Blunt/'Relic'?

Like them both but prefer the dwarf figure, even though it's not standard fantasy fare. Could almost be a halfling...
