Thanks Prof.
The boat and the buildings are all by Monolith Designs. The figures are conversions from ancient ranges and Foundrys Darkst Africa. The players are Will & Joe mclaughlin

These Monolith buildings are very tempting. I may try to get them. Hope Steve from Monolith is still in business.

Its worth trying to get hold of him. There is quite a range of Roman buildings including an ampitheatre.
The buidings are well designed in that they fit together to make villas, streets etc, yet they stand alone and do not suffer from lack of relief/end detail
The ruins in the earlier pics were scratch-built by Geoff from Fantascene using MDF/dowel/ 'cobblestone wallpaper. I repainted them to fit with the statue (a 60mm Greek on a Monolith plinth)

including an ampitheatre.

Amphitheatre? Sounds intriguing. Didn't found any on their site. Any pics?

Thank you, Shaun, looks good! This statue, just a large scale figure? Who makes it?

The statue is a die cast pencil sharpener(!) They are often found in museum shops for around £2.50
