Underworld Awakening
« on: December 07, 2011, 11:38:01 AM »
I was looking for a little inspiration for the 2nd phase of my Underworld Project and I found this.

Kate in leather - roll on January.  ;D

ohhh, now that looks good, I've enjoyed all the others so far and outright war sounds especially tasty. However, 3D, really, can't they show it in normal so I don't have a headache when I come out of the cinema.

She's no Diana Rigg, but she does have a certain appeal.  :)

Only 3D movie I saw was Avatar. No head ache, but I felt weird for the rest of the evening.  o_o

No worries; I saw it in 2D and still felt weird... :D

Must have been the whole Pocahontas in Space experience ;)

And another Underworld can't be bad, especially when skintight latex/leather is involved. On attractive female leads that is. Otherwise; definitaly NO skintight leathers; as the Man once said; 'Spandex is a privilege, not a right.'

Seriously though; I share the whole 3D-scepsis. To me, it adds nothing extra to a movie besides a vague queeziness lurking at the edge of my awareness. So I'll probably see this on a 3 for €25,- DVD in another 8 months or so... :)
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

Kate in leather

The only saving grace of the movies IMO.  :-* but, I can see the fluff and visual style providing a good background to a skirmish game.

Definitely. Because anyone else, say... Rosie O'Donnell, sporting black leather and full auto pistols doesn't have quite the same appeal.

Saw this trailer last week & can't wait for release for all the above Kate comments and the fact that I've really enjoyed the previous movies (even the non-Kate prequel)

Besides, it's good to see some blood-sucking vampire's in a film as opposed to all those cute, cuddly, misunderstood vampire movies & TV shows (Twilight, Moonlight, Vampire Diaries) we've suffered over the last few years!

Not to be rude or anything, but I have never understood the greatness in the Underworld movies. Many of my friends like them but I just fall asleep while watching, and that's not a good sign...
Please enlighten me.

Let's see. Underworld movies have these pieces of interest:

  • Kate Beckinsale. In tight leather/latex/whatever.
  • And vampires. That kill.
  • And werewolves. That kill.
  • And Kate Beckinsale.
