It's very annoying that all this exciting stuff is happening in and around Hereford now I've left the area - particularly as I had a game with Giles once so could have insinuated myself into all this mayhem.

Anyway, it looks great and some interesting scene-setting, particularly for those who know the area. I look forward to hearing how things affect my old village of Clehonger....!

Until I met Giles, the only wargaming activity I could find was a group that met in a pub in Hereford who were mainly 40K players. Perfectly nice chaps but not my thing. Otherwise, it seemed to be a wargaming desert.

Very intersting stuff on your blog about the Herefordshire Light Infanty, by the way - congratulations on that.

I look forward to seeing how hostilities go in Herefordshire.

Well as far as I can tell, apart from Giles and I it still is! I don't know of any groups, certainly in Hereford itself. I used to game with the Woodpecker Warriors many years ago, but that was more an occasional gathering than a regular club.
