As simple as possible for everyone. You order anything and I toss in a Maniac Santa with your order!

Again, you guys rock, I don't care what that other guy says.  :D

Saint Nicholas is a 4th-century saint, he was Bishop of Myra in Lycia, (modern day Turkey). He was very generous person, and continues to be in fact, every year "offers" a lot of money to those who use his name calling him Santa Clause and forgetting he was a Bishop and a Saint who is revered by so many people ...

In England we have (or used to have) Father Christmas, who was nothing to do with Saint Nicholas or the American "Santa", and only became confused with him in the 20th Century when they started dressing like each other.

He's really fucking WODEN!!!* in disguise.

*Woden is a word you have to shout as if you were Brian Blessed. Any other way is not pronouncing it correctly.

According to Ronald Hutton (in The Stations of the Sun and The Rise and Fall of Merrie England), there is no evidence of any personification of Christmas in England before the 17th century.  The idea that Father Christmas is pagan is a post-Golden Bough fantasy.  My guess is that he was invented as a mouthpiece for opposition to puritan anti-Christmas arguments.  That's certainly how Ben Jonson used him in Christmas His Masque in 1618.

Still separate from Santa Claus, though (who was never a Siberian shaman - that's a 1970s hippie-drivel fantasy), until the late 19th century, when he suddenly started climbing down chimneys and delivering presents.

nice work J@ymz,

I like the intensity of the red on the costume and the blood patches
on the snow.

You captured the mad gleam in his eyes too.

Now, if only there were some free holiday scenario where I could use Maniac Santa to his full potential...if only...
