Warlord Games Dwarves

http://www.warlordgames.com/15018/new-dryads/

Got this link through in their news letter and thought some of you might appreciate it. Quite cool looking figures in my opinion, really like the dryads too.

Not into fantasy football myself, but the dwarf female team is nice.  I do like the dryads as well.

I don't do fantasy football but I think the minis look really nice and there is potential for other possible uses for them too.

The dryads wouldn't look too bad if they didn't look like they desperately have to use the bathroom.

Yeh I see that too. Haha. Think I might just have been excited about seeing lady dwarves because looking back I'm not that fussed now.

don't care for either set
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

This might be a weird thing to bring up, but that text "Wojtek, he is Polish you know" gets rather annoying when applied to every single picture. And it does not even have anything to do with anything at all. Sounds like some sort of catchphrase from a bad tv show. And I'm Polish myself, so it's not like I have something against him being a Pole. I do think it is cool that he gets recognition from Warlord Games if they think his nationality matters. I myself rate skill within one's area of expertise to overshadow nationality, sex, race, religious beliefs and whatever.

Anyway, got a bit lost there in a train of thoughts...

Don't care for the Dryads, but the dwarf female Blood Bowl team is quite OK. It has the same goofy look to it that the other company which specializes in female Blood Bowl team has in their models. As such I can see them becoming popular.

Really silly poses that kill the whole thing for me. The fact that they are almost identical as well is a downer.

I actually like the dwarf team. Fantasy football is all about being hilariously overdone and tose dwarvs fit perfectly. They are glorously weird.
