Ahem. That is to say, I should think some of the Dark Age games minis would work for Superheroes, at least of the grittier not-spandex variety. Some even have capes (and there are a couple of spandex clad ones too now that I think of it) :P

Be adviced that if Hasslefree is at the small end of the 28mm spectrum, then these tend to be more @ the opposite end.

...and since I already stepped off the "beaten path" (that is, outside of the lines of minis that are actually meant to represent superheroes per se) and an add at the Beasts of War caught my eye - there's Taban Miniature's Eden with it's rather whacky postapocalyptic stuff, including killer klowns and S/M folksies among others. Might be more suitable for supervillains I suppose (as would many of the Dark Age minis) but all the same, find them here:
