My Quindia inspired AWI army
« on: December 19, 2011, 05:12:16 AM »
For some reason I seem to always get inspired by what other people are doing so here is what Quindia http://quindiastudios.blogspot.com got me doing since historicon.  I have to paint the artillery and finish up the basing, so almost there.  I based this force around Thomas Sumter "the Carolina Gamecock".  Not as famous as Francis Marion, but he seemed to ruffle some feathers so I kind of took a shine to him.  This force is in know way historical just something I put together in my head.  Just wanted a force of 4 infantry and one each of cavalry and artillery for small little battles.  I had a lot of fun painting these.  I can't say enough about Perry AWI  if you are thinking about them, don't walk, run and buy them.
