Christmas tree lights.......pulpy gothic mad scientist goodness!
« on: December 21, 2011, 06:41:50 AM »
Amidst much coughing and spluttering as I try to recover from a chest infection I put up the Xmas tree lights, found some not working and, having visited the garden centre was advised you can take them out of their sockets and replace with another bulb if you can't find the correct socket (voltage being important mind)....anyway, looking at the bulbs I suddenly pictured a Frankenstein / mad scientist getup - very cheap and readily available from the £ shop  :D

Merry Xmas one and all.............

I think Froggy did some pulp SF (Flash Gordon style) scenery with recycled capacitors, resistors and other electronic bits and pieces. Can't recall if he used actual lightbulbs or not, but a great idea and one I'm going to file away for future pulp mad science lab scenery!

hah! It's just funny how great ideas pop into ones mind suddenly :). Quite often I get some odd ideas from the everyday items (junk) that I come across. Good idea! Looking forward to see how this will end up.

Junk, my wife asks why I don't throw anything away.
