Historically Indians seiged rather than assaulted forts and the gaming would focus on breakout or sallying out as well as some foraging expeditions. Any Old West rules would handle this, LoToW or Yellow Ribbon for example depending on how many figures you wanted to use.

For a more agressive attack akin to Rorke's Drift I would use the Sword and the Flame with house rules for fires as indians frequently used fire as a primary weapon when they could.

Very seldom did the Indians attack a fort--no matter what Hollywood says.  A few examples include one in Minnesota when the Dakota attacked and were repulsed by cannon fire.  And an attack in Arizona that was beaten back.  Of course there was the attack on Adobe Walls by the Kiowa and Comanche that was defeated.
As was said most of the forts were besieged.  Google up Fort Phil Kearney.  It was besieged for over a year I believe in Red Cloud's War in 1865-66.  When the treaty was signed, the fort had to be abandoned and it was burned by Little Wolf's Cheyennes.  But it was the scene of the wagon box fight and other similar skirmishes.
