It IS good!....but why(and I may be being a idiot here) is it called a wheelhouse? Is it the shape of the building? :(

Really nice, the stone work is particularly good.
It IS good!....but why(and I may be being a idiot here) is it called a wheelhouse? Is it the shape of the building? :(

IIRC you are correct in your suspicion. The building has a central circular room like a hub and walls eminating from it like spokes. The spaces between the 'spokes' make individual rooms. I did Romano-Celtic studies at uni but it was a long long very long time ago. o_o
