6mm Woodshed from Total Battle Miniatures

Just for a change to the 15mm Ice Board (snow blindness anyone) I've dipped my toes into 6mm and painted this up:

Though the roof looks very very pitted it actually adds to the model in real life and cannot be seen at 2 foot distance.

After a good wash and dry the method was:

1) Grey Undercoat (Halfords car primer)
2) Wash with Devlin Mud
3) Dry brush the wall with white
4) Dry brush the roof with adeptus battlegrey
5) Was again
6) Very light dry brush in white
7) Base edges painted in black
'Grass' area Vallejo olive green with a wash of bronze green / black / cobra leather
9) Late autumn tufts (must buy new tweezers)
10) Plants (far side) red/white/yellow
11) Wood was a mix of leather and black and green with a wash of black and mud
12) Windows black and framed in adeptus grey

hmm... to be honest that model is kind of "bad". Like you said the roof looks bad because it's full of holes. The roof also looks badly modelled. The logs outside look out of scale (ok yes there are damn big trees to be found, but still). The base is quite thick and small.  Painting is good but the lightning could be better to show all the washes, brushing etc.

So in my opinion, you have done a good job but the model is not too good.
