I use the masking tape thing too.  Haven't had a problem yet.

The eyepod is coming along nicely... I don't even know how it's going to fit into the story. I do know however that I will present teh game as a serial of three episodes. And the players get to dice to see what goes on in each. Everything will be pretty random so first you probably roll 'what happened', then 'who did it happen to' and then 'who did it' and so on.. So each sometimes a walnusian will be kidnapped by an evil robot and Kalle Blixt will come to the rescue. Other times a robot will be kidnapped by a Walnusian and Kalle Blixt will once again have to sort it out.

A bit like the old encounter table from Rogue Trader, only worse.

I'm thinking this might be a funny addition too

Those are neat.  Kind of reminds me of the eyebot thing from Jonny Quest.

Dr. The Viking, I think you're probably the most imaginative contributor to this forum.
Really great stuff and some wonderful ideas.

Cygnus the Robot Master

...from behind

I will probably never really understand metal paints. Wish I had Vallejo liquid, but I don't.  lol

Work has started on Kalle Blixt and a cave maruader too...

I took an executive decision and finished the rest of the evil robots:

The lot

That's the whole of my first faction done. I think their terrain should be all metal too. Wouldn't that be awesome? I mean a complete metal-episode. I just need to find a decor pebble can in silver..

Metal terrain is a good idea.

Metal terrain is a good idea.

Yeah! I'm thinking that I could do it... Although terrain for each faction was not part of the initial plan. BUT - if I'm going to have a project run for 2 years it should be manageable.

I'm tempted to include a lot of old print cards in the scenery too. Or something similar. Maybe it's a bit over much. It's when it's wrong it's right.  lol

I would finish all the figures/gangs first. Then if the inspiration is still alive, go for terrain parts.
