More rampage:

NOw I'm working on these:

Kind of lost it a bit there with the voodoo queen but I had no idea what to do with a dress other than pull it off... so I tried flowers.

Should I deflower her again?

I love the yellow on the marine.  :-*
The pirate captives look really cool.

lol

Bright yellow flowers seem a little out of place for a voodoo queen, but they look good!

What you might want to do is to get a balance between 'real' and 'fantastic'.

At real vodou ceremonies, the dominant colour is white. This is then accented by a small addition of colour – which colour that is depends on the vodou spirit being honoured.

For example, here's a photo I took at Fete Gede, which is the Vodou feast of the dead. The colour of the Gede spirits is purple:

So, just a hint of colour on a base of white should capture the mood.

Hope that gives you some inspiration!  :)

Admit it, the only reason you painted flowers was so you could ask that question!

Really nice work. I quite like the flowers. Don't you think that the space marine is a wee bit over powered for a game with pirates?  lol

Cheers
Andy

He is clearly not a space marine, he is a space pirate  ;) (Well, actually he is an Alternative Armies Retained Knight)

So in my usual contempt for proper handy work and general lack of time I'm trying to finish a British Fort and my pirate ship for the weekend in one day:

Here are the mere beginnings:

First the basic shape

And then some fast planking...

The boat!  lol

Moths are the necessity of invention, as I always say.

But I hope it's going to work.  lol

Maybe I could dub it Fort Lait... and then it could sub as a fort for my French Legion in VSF.
