Looks good, I'll just ignore the rules part, I have no idea of that kind of stuff anyway.

It usually seems like we invent half the rules as we go along anyway, so I guess your game was not so much different than usual.  lol

Nice minis, nice paint job, nice scenery... sorry about the rules.

I just got the pre-release of "The Amazing Interplanetary Adventures of Dick Garrison" from Wargames Supply Dump, and gave them a quick read.

At first glance, they look ok, but I haven´t played any game yet.

Anyhow, I hope to see some more of your fantastic painted miniatures in the near future.

Thanks for sharing.
I know you're too old to play with toy soldiers. So give them to me... NOW!

Dang!

Didn't see your reply there mate. Tell me everything about the Dick Garrison game!

Meanwhile I've made a new table for a 'lava world' - initially to feature in a Skulldred Challenge at our convention, but bite me if the Colony of The Lava men won't reside here as well.

Just imagine a few small volcanoes, some smoke chimneys and billowing smoke clouds made from clump foilage. Oh and lots of yellow sulfur blurbs.

Seeing the topic title I thought you had been to a new theme park :~}

Shame about the rules. Have you sent your comments to Killer B?
They might appreciate feedback.

Jungle rocks look good, but how about more vines hanging down the vertical surfaces? That wouldn't interfere with standing figures on the flat, should be relatively easy to do (perhaps just green or brown string?) and would allow figures more chances to climb up or down (with a chance to fall).

Looking forward to seeing your progress with this! ;D have you thought about using lights in your volcanos? You can get small cheap 'Tea Lights', small fake candle looking electric lights that flicker. Ones bright enough and under your smoke stacks would be cool!! ;)

That is a BRILLIANT! idea!  ;D

I'll have to look into it... the table doesn't have to be ready before November, so I might make it.

Now I'm going to present a small torturial about how to make smoke chimneys / lava stoves...

Wow that looks amazing! It looks simple when you show it like that. Thanks for the step by step.

I liked the looking for the plaster bag half way through lol the number of times that type of thing happens usually when I am holding something else together hoping it will stick.

Amazing work there! Thank you for the tutorial!

Can't wait to see your smoke stacks. I'm planning on doing some in the future, I'd like to see how they're done.

Cheers
Andy
