Meanwhile I'm trying to turn these Renegade First World War 1 miniatures into Prussian Army miniatures for my VSF. I used Franco-Prussians painted in white dress uniforms for the colonial part of the forces, so I figured that the army would be a little more worn but rugged.

You do VSF - great, that we can both do  :)

I wanted to try and build some of the general's mountains.

They make up for their appearance in game-ability I think. And for pulp/vsf it's almost suitable that they look like stage props.  lol

At the mountains of madness!!!!

Love them mate, I really like that they look like stage props. You could do a Wild West town in the same way!!!

I would never stoop to the point of expressing hate about my hobby. My feelings are a bit more controlled, I think.  lol

I prefer pictures of nicely painting or partially painted miniatures above pictures of unpainted miniatures for sure.

Terrain on the workbench, I think, is quite nice to see in the nude first and then in paint in one of the appropriate boards later.  :)

The mountains look great.

Thanks. It's all inspired by the revered Major General Tremorden of course. Not my idea at all in fact.

I've gone and misted them with white spray paint now, but I think I'll give them a proper airbrush instead as the mist left me a bit 'hmmm'-ish.

Haha! I'm going Mexico, so don't think that's going to happen.

I knew it!
In my book, anything inspired by that site is a classic and thus complete and just as it should be.

This weeks workbench shots:

Some 15mm sci-fi stuff.. going to finish up the 2nd mechaton in a short while

And I've been bitten by the Infinity bug. It's not a major love but there a pretty cool gaming group in my neighbourhood with lots of nice terrain and plenty of initiative which counts for a heck of a lot these days.

looking good.
I wouldn't mind seeing some close-ups (and in profile) of those 15mm troops.
Mechatons look awesome, funny but nevertheless awesome.
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons,
for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
