German motorcycles in 28mm
« on: January 13, 2012, 10:09:39 PM »
does anyone make German motorcycles and sidecars in 28mm?
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

Warlord (Bolt Action) make a nice BMW R75 with sidecar.  Foundry make a BMW R35 that's a wee small (though to scale) that comes in sidecar or solo configuration.  Black Tree make a nice sidecar rig as well but its pretty large (IMHO).  Westwind makes one as does Battle Honors - but theirs are not particularly nice

Hongwell make some really cheap but not bad quality BMWs

I think Honeywell makes the R75 side car in Afrika Corps markings.  I got two and the eBay a while back and they are really nice and hold up well in gamin'

Yep, they do, 3W11.

It's Hongwell not Honeywell, by the way. They're also known as Cararama.

I couldn't find them on the site: http://www.hongwell.com/index1.htm but I have a few of them and I know that's where they came from.

What scale are these Hongwell?  BTW the black bike represents a postwar R25 - not WW2

Yep, that's them.  I believe they are 1/48 or 1/43.  They really fit well with the stuff I have which is heroic 28mm.
