Hi folks,

yesterday i was in the mood the paint some 28mm figs for HC:

For the blood effects i used Tamiya Red!

Very nicely done
really nice base effect and shields in particular
In the last pic there's quite a height difference in those 4 spearmen from left to right
are they all by the same manufacturer?
I thought some of these at least were by Groping Beast and assume that you are using Crusader as in crusades rather than the figure company?

Love the 5 o'clock shadow on the first chap. I've never managed that even halfway convincingly.

Fantastic brushwork. I can only echo everyone elses comments. Love the bases too. detailed, without detracting from the figs.
The 2 taller figs on the right look like they are from the old Citadel,(then Foundry), Viking/Norman/Saxon range. Great figs 25 years ago and still good now.

Nice job. The wire spears look a tad flimsy though. Might do for javelins...

Yep, I would tend to want to fit the weapons to the hands a bit more closely. If nothing else, it gives better adhesion.
