I don't think Dave frequents this forum so I thought I would give you good folks here a heads up on these, the figures speak for themselves

Awesome, is this from a company or is Saxon Dog selling them Himself?
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

Very nice indeed, with only a couple suffering from the 'Hicks sticky out elbow'. Although I would bend the cross guard tips forward for the classic Scottish sword look.

Ross Cowan gave an excellent paper on this in Leeds in 2011, much of which has since been published in Medieval Warfare 1.2:

http://www.medieval-warfare.com/cms/issues/medieval-warfare-i-2

Judging by the armour, I'd say these are meant for the late fourteenth, early fifteen century? The main character's pig-faced bascinet may be pushing it for Neville's Cross (1346), but he will take you through to 1420's. So great for Otterburn and Homildon Hill and meshing nicely with the Perry range.

Edit: Just read David's post on the Steve Dean forum and they are aimed at Otterburn etc.

Ooooh, they are rather nice.

Am wondering if some of them might be of use for the WotR.  (Hi Janner, when you mention compatible Perry's I assume you mean the HYW line?). The kit worn by some does seem quite similar to the Perry 15th century Europeans in metal, a notable exception being what looks like it could be a basket weave helmet.

Yes, HYW Perrys. The spearmen would be fine for WotR (perhaps with the odd headswap with a more modern helmet), but the knights would need to be replaced. Hopefully these will be compatible with the Perrys as they provide lots of options for heads and replacement nobles.I'm not sure what you mean by basket weave helmet - is it the one of second from right in spear3?

Thanks, looks like I'll be gaining a Scottish contingent!  :)

Yes, that's the helmet. In the raw metal it looks like a bit like woven willow.  Obviously it won't be but I don't think I've seen a helmet with that structure before so I'm guessing it must be a Scottish style.

Are they compatible with Scheltrum's "Lord of the Isles" range of 15th C Scots?
