SYW Austrians, Big Battallion
« on: January 25, 2012, 10:39:53 AM »
I painted these as a commission for a fellow gamer in berlin.
The flaggs will be done by himself...

Regiment Kaiser in summer/parade uniform. Miniatures by FrontRank.

The miniatures are dipped with armypainter and then highlighted, especially the white and the skin...

Lovely job, which shade of dip did you use as a matter of interest?

Thank you, for your kind comments.

@dipp
Its "Strong Tone", applied with a brush, so relatively controlled dipping... ;)

I´m more and more impressed by your output Don! You´re definately the working horse of miniature painting. AND they look good, especially en-masse. Will there be a big SYW-game next BeST?
Cheers
Jan

The planning of the BeST3 is in a very early stage to say the least.
But if we are going to stay in the kreuzberg-gallery we will be very limited spacewise. So its pretty unlikely that we will see any "big" game, sorry... ;)

I am afraid, I am not. The little fellows stood for over a year on my paintstation... lol
