After seeing Plynkes wanting the limited editions in the Bazaar, and me not ever knowing about these.  I decided to e-mail Mr. Copplestone about them.  Got this for a reply today.  =)

Funny you should mention the Darkest Africa limited editions - I just found a forgotten stash of them (maybe 20 sets) - Naval Officer, Chokwe Elephant Hunter, Masai Elder, Watuta Chief and Angry Pygmy. Most of my casting is done by a contract caster but I`ve recently bought a little tabletop casting machine which makes re-releasing some discontinued packs a possibility.  Please share the info.  I`ll do a mailing in the next few days.

This made my day as well Prof.  Can't wait to order these.  Darkest Africa has taken over the painting table now for some weeks, and will probably take a siege effort to get it out.  Can't wait to see the angry Pygmy!

Don'y have a pic of the naval officer, but I clearly remember him as a standing bareheaded chap holding his helmet under his arm. I could use a couple when they become available again. Any idea whether we will be able to order the figures through the website ?

Nonsense! I think you can and should take credit. The seemingly obvious step of contacting the man himself never occurred to me, I just assumed he wouldn't have any.
