My first full sculpt.
« on: 31 January 2012, 08:15:00 AM »
Hi everyone, I recently completed my first sculpt and would like to know what you all thought about it. I've cut my teeth doing plenty of conversions and things, but this is the first thing I've made completely from scratch.

Comments and criticism are really welcome. More pics, and a bit of a story, available on my blog here: http://intergalacticgames.blogspot.com.au/2012/01/cancon-and-my-first-sculpt.html

Looks good! I can see myself desperately not making eye contact with her at Parramatta station.  :D

Very nice, after several attempts at sculpting myself, it's certainly harder than it looks, and you've done well there.

Very impressive for a first sculpt  8) :-* (obviously the 'Love it' smilie is for the skill involved and not the subject  lol ).

Difficult to tell from the photo but maybe a bit of a clean up around the feet is needed?

cheers

James

This is rather good, Christian, well done! If you going to produce her, I'm in for a copy :)

Thanks for the comments guys!

@The Breaker - Now that I'm living in Parramatta... well, let's just say I had plenty of sources to draw my inspiration from!
@Jim - Well spotted, sir! The feet sort of meld into the base at this stage. It's one of the things I want to fix when I get the cast back.
@Prof. - I will see how the cast comes up :) I'll let you know, but happy to send one along.
