Workbench update - Indus miniatures
« on: February 03, 2012, 02:08:31 AM »

Multi part Infantry

I wanted for the gamer to have options but not have the figures be too fiddly to put together. I decided to have right arm options as well as shield options. These can be used from the 1700's through till the 1800's. They would work for Plassey, Assaye, Indian Mutiny, Pulp, Pirates, Imagnations, what ever you can think of !

Thanks

The figs look great and would definitely be a good buy for a lot of periods....that said, the shields don't look right at all, as the back appears to be flat instead of concave? This needs to get fixed.

Have been checking the range often to see what appears.  The project is far too early for me but these would as you say cross over nicely to later periods. They are very nice and I look forward to seeing more.

Thanks guys.

Yes the shields are being corrected by the sculptor - Leandro Ventic. I am limited on how concave they can be made for a couple of reasons. One they are optional and I have to have enough surface area for people to attach and the other is I do not want to make them too thin for the casting.

Very nice figures. How well will the fit in with Foundry's old Perry Indians? Style wise they would be perfect.
