How did the Man from U.N.C.L.E. end up on Corrie? Strange times we're living in.  :)

A sentiment I wholeheartedly echo.  I guess a guy's gotta make a living...  Maybe Tony Curtis will turn up in Hollyoaks next?

Anyway, super-duper smooth work there Bugsda.  May I ask if this is this a one-off or part of an U.N.C.L.E project?

Don't get me wrong, I like Corrie. If Gandalf can show up there then there's no shame in Napoleon Solo doing it too.

I was just surprised that an American star did it. Not appalled or anything, just surprised.

"Corrie" AKA "Coronation Street" is a log-running British soap-opera... from about 1963 onwards, or something. The implication is Robert Vaughan has taken a part on it (as Ian Mckellen did a couple of years ago).

You've got to be fucking joking  :o

Mind you, Callan turned up on Eastenders so there is a precedent  ::)

Beautiful miniatures! :)

You've got to be fucking joking  :o

My reaction exactly! :D

I once dared tell my ex (from the North) that I can't see much of a difference between Corrie and Eastenders... She called her mom and sister and they nearly ripped my head off! :D

And it isn't even a confidence trick.

Mind you, not only did Sir Ian McKellen appear on Coronation Street a few years back, as has been pointed out, but Sir Derek Jacobi said that, now that he's done a Doctor Who, going on Corrie was his main unfulfilled ambition.

Anyway, lovely painting there, Bugsda.  I think Ral Partha used to do a Mr Waverley look-alike long ago, but that'd probably be on the tiny side.  A proxy for April Dancer (The Girl from UNCLE) could probably be found somewhere too.
