To Mold Or Not To Mold That Is The Question
« on: February 22, 2012, 11:11:08 AM »
I made these a year or so ago and don't know whether to make a mold for them or bin them, so guys its up to you to vote. I will have no need for them other than to sell so thats what I ask you to base your answers on. They are 28-30mm scale. Contact me for measurements and more pictures.  :D

They look ok.

How do they fit in with other products eg Ainsty?

Where are you based? (would influence price - especially re postage)

I'm in th UK....not sure on Ainsty.........to be honest they would be very cheap, something like £1 a piece. I'll measure them up tomorrow and put a piccy on with the measurements

Sounds good.
Those floor markings would look quite good in a secret bunker complex....

Ok right, the long pieces are
floors L=140mm w= 80 mm h= 5mm
walls L=140mm h= 50mm (55mm with floor)

the smaller pieces are literqaly half size of the larger ones.

weight like i said for 5kg you would have plenty of pieces, enough for a large area span.

hope that is enough info  :D

I'd recommend adding some extra detail if you can face it, control panels for the doors etc. It's the sort of thing i kick myself for not doing after it's too late!

to be honest now i sort of know they are wanted i might go for broke and do a proper set with plenty of detail and to the measurements that people require......this set was supposed to be a bland look, a bit like the bare walled look of the mountain base in stargate
