Just a quick update on my progress so far.
I've completed the base and have just started on the balloon.

Thanks guys!

Just started on the balloon. It's base coated with a suitable grimey wash so far.
I'll post some pics as I go.

Not very good pictures I'm afraid ( A bit bled out due to the flash) so I'll take some better pictures soon.
Here's what I've got so far.

I'm not sure abot the Telegraph pole supporting the baloon. I might have another go using trailing "lines" made of wire to give it the impression of flight.

Pappa, I like that so much. The Zombie looks absolutely real! The base is brilliantly evocative. ...and the balloon, well, it really looks like it is flying by a telegraph pole!

I would not worry about a different approach of fixing the balloon to the base. If You want to have a strong bond, the pole itself seems to be the right choice!

Top notch!

Totally amazing. Love the warped idea and the way you've pulled it together.

That is, quite simply, bloody awesome! :)

Will you stick with the diorama or have some more "playable" minis? An air-drop scenario in a coastal British village springs to mind :)

Keep up the good work Papa - you inspire us all :)
