Chinese Fantasy Army
« on: 23 February 2012, 10:27:08 PM »
I am building a CFA, the core infantry are Outlands Asian dwarves and Essex's Tibetan cavalry and archers.
Curteys also has a line of Tibetans and I am wondering if Essex and Curteys will look ok next to each other.
also what other ancient Chinese figures are on the market?
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

TAG do some, and the Perry's do some nice Koreans. And which company is it that has the fantasy range: Black Cat? Black Hat?

Hat
TAGs Song dynasty Chinese will eventually be my elvish forces.
I want to get Perrys Korean war machines for the dwarves.
I also thought about picking up some Easterlings for opponents but they are a tad expensive.

you can also try Renegade, they are a bit bulkier than most miniatures, but they are nice (if you don't mind clearing the mold lines) and very affordable.
I've used them to make a terracota army
Cheers,
Pedro

I think these go together better than you would expect from viewing them seperately.

Other ranges?  Cavalcade, Newline, JJD, Irregular, Bears Den etc. etc. etc.

We do a large range of Chinese Fantasy called Tales of the Dragon Kings.

You can get these in the USA through Scale Creep Miniatures or Rattlehead Games.
