Une balle et du sang
« on: 25 February 2012, 09:24:27 PM »
For those who can't read french, the title means "a ball and some blood".
I just wanted an title a bit more original than the usual "Blood Bowl" ;)

I registered to get some advice on my Shining Force project, but then why wouldn't I take the opportunity to show some of my painted miniatures ?

As a long time Blood Bowl fan, I'll start with minis for that game.

First of all, an Ogre team :

Wood Elves :

Gnomes :

Chaos team (sorry for the quality, I haven't got a better picture and I painted the minis for a friend)  :

That's all for this time...

Reminds me of the time I asked, in my best schoolboy accent, for "du café, s'il vous plait" and got two (deux) coffees ...

Anyway, so great work there, and I'll echo appreciation of the ogre team - the flesh tone works really well with the reds of the clothing.
Back from the dead, almost.

I can see much throwing-ness of the little guys in that ogre team!

Fantastic paint jobs too - great work!  8)

Cool teams! I like the classic ogres especially. I've never heard of the gnome team before but it's rather cool!

VERY WELL DONE! Your SPLENDID brushwork made some very cool minis even cooler.
I'd NEVER join a club that would have me as a member.  G.Marx

Three lovely teams! The ogres look brilliant - are they all GW?

Thanks for all the comments !

All ogres are GW except for the ogress, which is from the Willy miniatures range.
The gnomes also aren't GW, I bought them on the Impact! miniatures site.

Bonus pictures :

Another ogre

An elven enchantress, which I use as a coach/wizard for my elf team (from Ilyad Miniatures range)

Another treeman (another Ilyad mini)

Great stuff, especially like the ogre team. So many Olley sculpts in one place.  :-*
