Fascists on Mars

PROTAGONISTS, or better THE HEROES:
Lifes marked by glory, arm and hand of Duce, brave men, which only saw the honour to hear the bell of destiny, a handful of heroes:
FECCHIA, the veteran of the march on Rome and now on Mars, the true hero of two worlds
SANTODIO, the silent soldier who made this camera shooting
FREGHIERA, fearless athlete
PINI, whose eyes had melted the hearts of many dreaming girls
And finally BARBAGLI, devoted much more to Duce that his own mother, who strongly returns

THE COMPANY:
Arditi, these flowers of the regime who put their feet on  Bolshevik sands of Mars!
They gave a new empire to Italy, and then died.
It was true glory?
"At 15:00, 10 May 1939 Mars is fascist!"

A good idea to use Strategia&Tattica miniatures:
http://www.strategiaetattica.it/miniature_base.asp?tipologia=28mmRSI

Before the Movie there was a Tv Show:

I am sorry they are all spoken in Italian, and I think DVD has got no english subtitle

I really, really, really want to see this, Italian-only or no. 8)

Incidentally, all the newest Star Wars movies are much improved by switching to the Italian language track and turning off the subtitles.

"o Marte o morte!" - what a fantastic slogan!
"When to keep awake against the camel's swaying or the junk's rocking, you start summoning up your memories one by one, your wolf will have become another wolf, your sister a different sister, your battle other battles, on your return from Euphemia, the city where memory is traded." - Italo Calvino

"O Roma o morte" was Garibaldi slogan during the Italian indipendence war

Molto entertaining-o, signore!

Watched those episodes available on the site you linked yesterday, and while I don´t speak a word of Italian (apart from the cliché phrases needed to roleplay an Italian Ladies Shoewear manufacturer, don´t ask), it was fascinating how well they captured the look and feel of period newsreels.
