Love it. But is there any reason why there aren't any windows?

Do you seriously think that after four years of German occupation and exploitation there actually where WINDOWS left in France? "Nous n´avions rien,  en 1944..."

It´s a lovely model, and looks very, very playable.

I think he meant window frames, nobody expects glass. There are frames in the photos.

Personally I rarely add them to buildings, especially WWII buildings as I tend to do the insides fire blackened and I assume the window frames burnt or were takes for wood. I then got into the habit of not doing them on other buildings because I never really noticed they were missing. They tend to add a point of weakness to an otherwise sturdy gaming building.

No doubt dominic has different reasons though and it's his thread so I'll shut up.  :lipps:

I toyed around with adding windows, but after putting in a couple, decided against it as it became very fiddly.  I figure most people won't miss it on the gaming table.

I found the poster for the back that was used in the Band of Brothers episode:

Unfortunately, I could only find a small copy.  Has anyone come across a larger copy of this poster?
