Do you use the photobucket options to clean your pictures? I am toying with that now and getting some great success.

Nope, I use Photoshop to proces my pictures, but when I upload them to Photobucket they get dulled somewhat. Still have to see if I can get things right (or use another website to host my pictures).

Edit: just used ImageShack, and everything is as it should be right now...edited the picture post with pictures from the ImageShack account.

Thanks...I like to paint everything in bright colors as it makes miniatures look more cartoonish. Artizan has some very nice sculpts with lots of details but they do need quite a bit of cleaning up though.

He is lovely!
 :-*

Great paintjob all round, but the lantern and base really do it for me!
 ;D

Would you mind giving a brief description on how you did the base?

Thanks. The base is relatively easy, I used some Green Stuff to make a little shore and flocked the GS part like normal (PVA glue with sand and small rocks). I left the part of the base without GS without any stones and painted it black. Stuck some masking tape all over the model and made a line to where the water should come and used an airbrush to make a gradient from black to green. Finally I used some Realistic Water from Woodland Scenics and filled up the base up until the green line. By the way, I kind of hate the Woodland Scenics Realistic Water as it shrinks like crazy and it made PVA glue and Vallejo Water Effects turn white...for small bases it's pretty good though, because the shrinking gives some shape to the water surface.
Pretty easy, isn't it?

Wow man! That is one excellent looking agent!  :-* I love the colours used on him, and that base just completes it. Such a small surface and you're able to tell a story on it. Love it! :)

Thank you all for the kind words. It's a great figure.
By the way, what you can't see clearly in the picture, is that I've used some glossy varnish on the glass of the lantern.
