Lovely band of adventurers, Blackwolf. Old School, yet fresh.

Nice dwarfs, especially the ones passed out on the ground!
(how much does a dwarf have to drink before he passes out?!)

But those Adventurers are just ace, loving the Triskell design on the shield!!!

I absolutely loved the drunken dwarfs, and thought it was a lock. . . and then I scrolled down. That adventuring party may be my favorite of the competition so far. Where are those miniatures from, though??!! Awesomeness. Great job, both of you.

Greetings

lol I just plain love the red face of that one dwarf in the lower left picture. Now has he a red face because of the Battleweiser or because he has to help lifting the keg

But I'm mesmerized by that adventurer group. The lady in blue and the hunter in the middle of the group... just wow

Thanks
Jo

Great entries both, what's there not to like about drunk dwarves-
but Blackwolf those are killer!, any earthy classic fantasy stuff always hits the sweet spot for me.
are those all Tre Manor, Red Box, sculpts? whose the guy in the middle? I need it. :D Bravo!

Boozy dwarfs - great stuff! Haven't seen the chap sleeping on his axe before - great mini!

Blackwolf - I've said it before but I love the luminosity you get with your lighting - if that makes sense? Painting's not too shabby either!

Cheers for the comments chaps :) In particular about the shield,I like painting shields, such a broad canvas,so to speak.

And Thantsants; cheers mate,my lighting is natural, though underneath an outside awning.

 Here's my camera set up;

 AV 38
ISO 200 (it's an old camera)
 EV 1
 white balance; shade
On an 2 second timer with a tripod, manual focus.

I'm colourblind and people have said that my explain my weird lighting....... :)

I'd say weird=good in that case - your natural light must be better than the watery Yorkshire sunshine we're finally beginning to enjoy!
