Very nice ... looking forward to seeing how it progresses from simple toy to exquisite model.  I especially love the little cockpit details.

I'll have to come up with some ideas for my toy robot walker, too - but I'm afraid my skills (and eye for realistic mechanics) aren't up to yours.

Finally, a project the size of which I can get my head around.

I suppose I should wait to see how much more you might add...  lol

Well done on seeing through to the 'meat' of the toy for the best part!

Thanks, gents.

This was going to be a 'quickie' - but it's gone and got a bit more ambitious. Sigh.

Oh, well. I'll try to keep the rivet count somewhere this side of sensible...

So here's the next bit - getting much bulkier now, not to mention causing a few headaches...

Boy, did the first coat of paint ever make a difference on this one. Pulled the whole thing together.

Keeps happening to me over and over...

PM was the first to make me hush with doubts in such a manner. ;->=

Colonel, have to give you my highest praise:

You so crazy.

Thank you, gentlemen.

It is essential to have faith that the finished product will be worth the effort on a project such as this. Many's the time I've looked at whatever I've been building and thought, "Hmmm... This is going to be crap!"

In fact, I used to scrap loads ideas when they were less than half finished. These days, I make myself see them through to the end.

This was also one of the rasons that I painted HMSW Gargantua as it developed - it helped to keep me enthused during what was a very long and sometimes tedious project.

I'm glad you like this one!
