Cobra swarm? It isn't a rattlesnake swarm, but it may be a good place to start anyway...

Black Tree also makes snake swarms along with many other types of swarms (here), but I don't think any of them are rattlesnakes. They're currently on discount but their shipping charges might offset that. I ordered some of these snakes just yesterday, along with enough other stuff to get free shipping (quite a lot of stuff, actually).

Yeah I'm starting to think I'm going to have to make my own.  I'm not so worried about the sculpting as the casting because I need several.

How about Fimo clay (or possibly Sculpey clay in the US ?)
Coloured modelling clay like plasticene but you can harden it in the oven.

Otherwise Wizards of the Coast have some snakes in their D&D miniatures range, but mostly giant ones.

The latest D&D range (Deserts of Desolation ?) has some quite good swarms of scarab beetles etc that are quite useful, maybe they'll do swarms of snakes in the next set.
Gary, Glynis, and Alasdair (there are three of us, but we are too mean to have more than one login)

You did not specify a scale.
What size?

We game in 54mm and I have several possibilities if that's what you need.
