Colonel Marbles (With Chainsaw.)
« on: 26 March 2012, 08:00:46 AM »
In amongst my fast painting for the LPL, I slowed the pace a little to produce a single character figure.   ::)

As I'm not really into the Zombie thing, my back story for the figure is simply that he's off to do his own forestry work after dismissing his workers due to lack of deference.  :)

Lovely painting, but doesn't the Colonel realize that his boots clash with his chainsaw?!?  Some things are just not done  :D ;D

Greetings,

yes officer, that's him, assuredly!  lol

I would have given him green rubber boots. But than ...
oh my ... what a fantastic job. First I was caught by the monocle. It's somewhat later that I realized the epic brushwork on his tweed.
Sir, I bow my head.

IIRC, the herringbone pattern is sculpted on.  Still nice painting!

The master of the Marbles strikes again - another absolutely brilliant job  :-* :-* :-*

I think we need a group shot of them all together.  Have you done the zombie one with his guts hanging out?

Thanks  :)

No.  I don't have that one and actually don't want it, as I only like to own figures that I want to paint, and painting Zombies holds no pleasure for me.  Just not my thing.   ::)
