W.I.P Trilobites
« on: 31 March 2012, 01:00:54 PM »
Hi everyone  :)

I thought these might be fitting with Cthulhu mythos as there supposed to be ancient sea creatures.

Giant Trilobites W.I.P they still need the antenas doing.

What do you think?

I also wanted to know if I should just post all my sculpts under one thread instead of clogging the board up with different posts about new sculpts?

thanks
George

Looking good so far. The antennae might be a problem. How big are these?

My favorite prehistoric creature!

I would just use some bent wires for the antennae even if they were included as castings. I will very likely get some of these if you cast 'em up!

Thanks  :)

The large one is about 40mm long and the other two are about 15 & 20mm
I'll measure them properly when I get home later.

Not sure how to tackle the antenna yet but, I'll let you know what I come up with.

Thanks
George

BTW, it just occured to me that the simplest way to do the antennae would be to just sculpt them as part of the body, with them just laying flat against it and following the contours. So, no assemlby required and would probably lok just as well  :)

I like these. The large ones would be very useful.
