Sweetness in both entries- the similarities and high quality in each are making me resort to some real nitpicking in order to choose :)

I really like the way the figures interact in Blackwolf's, along with the clarity of the individuals and precision of painting, plus his characteristic mood. Perhaps his most crisply photographed entry to date.

Frank's has beautiful mood and depth, wonderful contrast and painting, great dynamism. I have to agree with tomogui it is a little hard to separate the figures visually. Again, just nitpicking on an amazing scene :)

Wow...what a matchup. I'm picturing my figs up against either this round, and I wouldn't get a single vote -- including my own!

Really loved both sets, and the presentation of them was simply amazing.

Also, while Frank is undeniably a god of painting, this is not the best photo; it's a little difficult to see where the orcs finish and the riders start. But just so impressed by both entries.

I disagree, the dynamics in Frank's photo are really mindblowing. I can almost "feel" the motion here.

I also love the Blackwolf's picture. Having Barahir's men ambush Orcs is one of these great (if somewhat short) epics of the Elder Days of Middle Earth. This is an almost impossible choice to make...

This was tough, they both are excellent. Being a cavalryman I went with Hunting, but it  was tough

Amazing.  :-*

Very tough choice. Love them both.
Frank's I can see just the moment in the books this is taking place.

Both photos are great with a lot of depth.
Blackwolf's picture almost looks like an Animation cell. Stunning

I could easily have gone either way here, Frank's pulled me because of the moment in the story is one of my favorites.
