They look great! Pity she doesn't paint anymore! You'll just have to convince her ;)

Cheers :)

Moving onto the next models ready to hit the painting desk, 2 more minion heavy warbeasts, my ironback spitters. I coulden't stand their chin horns, so they came off, also didn't like the pose so they have both been re-posed.

These guys are the only Blindwater heavy so far with ranged attacks, corrosive spit, they are not excellent in game (just OK) but the models are nice enough (without their chin horns lol) and I can use them as big friends of the terrortoise should I ever need them... also I got them both quite heavily discounted which always helps lol.

Update on the Ironbacks.

Photo quality is pretty rubbish, sorry about that, but they are still PiP anyway so a fair distance to go before they are done. More angles on the blog:

Fair enough ...

Your latest WIPs are looking great so far! I like the way you've painted Barney's eyes :)

Cheers for the comments guys :).

I went to finish the Ironbacks but I wasn't "feeling" it so I stood infront of the cabinet and looked at the hordes of un-painted miniatures, and I eventually picked some things to paint, normally I just stand there get depressed and go and do something else lol....

More pics on the blog as per usual..

Loving those Dryads. Great job.  :D

normally I just stand there get depressed and go and do something else lol....

Know this feeling. So many half finished (or just started) miniatures on my desk right now. These sunny days are a paradox. Perfect light for painting, just wanna lay around outdoors.  >:(

Cheers for the comments guys, I tried to get in the mood for the rest of the Wood elves I have for the warband (some PP Tharn Bloodtrackers and GW Spellsingers) but I didn't get very far before my inspiration drained :(.

Oh well, it was a nice sunny bank holiday weekend at least, shame I coulden't go anywhere as I need to get my car looked at first (clunking sound underneath (hoping just a loose exhaust)) lol.

Thank you.
Nope Barney is mostly finished, I went to varnish him this morning and realised I haven't glued on / painted the last bit of tenticle yet (one of them has a seperate end)... *sigh*... nevermind
