Oh - I like those! But whatever happened to the reserve coming up the river in Africa? Did I just miss them or did they die of some unnamable disease?



Ever since our last little game of Darkest Africa I have a healthy respect for those so-called primitives or savages. They sure kicked me all over the place...

In four of seven games the reinforcements didnt show up at all.
In one game they came pretty early and saved the day.
Unfortunately I didnt take the pictures myself because of directing the game.

That makes for a rather interesting game. Is it intended, that the reinforcement might not show up at all ?

The reserves came when the joker was drawn  in a deck of 6 cards.
You can find this detailed in the scenario special rules for Last stand at Buro Falls. Please check the download section at our website.

In three games the reinforcements were shuffled far down below and the native player had already won before the card turned up.

Oh, the downloads - that's where people like me always end up as the losers. But with a 456k modem there just aint much downloadin' these days anymore. Well, I'll give it a try.
