Thanks for the great replies. 8)

Had a strange dream last night... my both arms separating from my body, mutating and walking towards my painting table. This is what I found when I woke up.

Do nightmares really come true or could it be I'm infected?

I loved the movie, I even had the game too.

I do know about a board game available on the outpost 31 site, but if there is on official one I really like to know (?).

I just upped my pledge for Sedition Wars, because the miniatures for SW looks suitable for your rule set.

SW has fantastic minis and think they would work perfectly for the Things game. They're on my list  8)

Oh, and don't forget to pass the infection to others  ;)

Once more I must steal your ideas for my own project.

I am guessing he means the computer game.

I was looking through the warzone stuff at Prince August and spotted this. Instantly I thought of the awesome stuff you have been doing. Your conversions are way better.

The illustration is way better than the model, who's kind of blob-like but still a good base to start. Imo, Anpu's model of an overspawn is the best I've seen so far.

Here are some uninfected dogs

and the painted infected one

Awsome! It makes me want to redo my dog things from scratch:  :D
Where are your dogs from? Are they otherworld wolves or some other brand?
What is the recipe for you thing skin/blood?

Thanks again for that comment, but I am not sure it is that good. Finished painting it today, hopefully pictures later today.

Yes, they are Otherworld minis. Check "wilderness encounters".

What is the recipe for you thing skin/blood?

A skin tone as a base color on a white undercoat. Then a mix of blood red/dark flesh/red ink/water as a wash. Once it's dry,  highlight with a mix of white/skin tone. Finally, watered blood red/dark flesh is applied as blood.
You can also add some infected blood to your mixes, works well ;D

Crazy nasty business going on here.

Haven't got a clue about Things or Carpenter, but it sure looks inspiring.

Definitely worth checking out, the original film is a real scifi/horror classic.

And you can pick it up on DVD for 7€:

This was a commission that I wanted to do for a long time. The real setting of "The Thing" movie. It's just a start for now, but the outpost will be completed soon.
