New Ruins (German Manufacturer)

Now this is an interesting piece!

Okay, I can't read German (at least not gaming German without my dictionary). What does the description say?

ZITERDES is a division of NOCH, a German manufacturer of modeltrain accessories.
The English part of the description says the same as the German part.
The other part says it is weather resistant (you can store it outside?), it is kinda dissolver resistant (paintable with acryl paints), it is lightweight but strong, you can cut and saw it.

I had them in my hands. It is made from a kind of foam, I guess. Its good looking and painted on a good gaming standard, though repainting some details is never wrong. I think you could drop it without anything breaking off, really strong material.
"I'd like to send this letter to the Prussian consulate in Siam by aeromail. Am I too late for the 4:30 autogyro?"
"Uh, I better look in the manual... This book must be out of date. I don't see "Prussia", "Siam" or "autogyro"...

i'm not sure if you muddles through the captions but there is english imbedded therein.  seems they are all pre-painted with some dry-brushed highlights and no static grass on the base, but some base material

If you want Ziterdes Terrain in the US, perhaps Woodland Scenics (railway terrain) might have them, they are a partner of NOCH, the owner of Ziterdes.

The Tavern is brand new, I saw it at the Games Fair in Essen 2007 where it's been shown for the first time, nice idea.

As mentioned before, the german text is roughly the same as the english.

Really good, lightweight terrain. Our local games store carry the complete range, and I simply do not dare go in there if my bank account is not in a solid surplus :-))
