Contest closes out tonight...

I am drawing up the award scoring sheets tonight...and I am going to make a player choice vote as well, voting should be active late tonight. Any last minute entries will be up by the morning.

Prize areas:

* Black Goat Cult Drawing
* Blog Follower Drawing
* Awards in Media and Written areas by me.
* Player favorite votes for both areas.

I am going to spread the love around on this one if I can and working to distribute the prizes (more for the winners) but something to each entry at least as well as the drawings. If you win a higher category, then I plan to drop to the next level to win the next award as the runner up.

Everyone has done a stand up job, people have noticed this board and I think we have drawn some attention to a great game and some outstanding miniature companies as well as supporters related to the hobby. I love a win win event like this.

If you have questions or such please let me know. I do plan to talk to Uncle Mike about taking these entries and adding a new area to the web page and perhaps could use these on some computer at shows to draw interest...who would not stop and watch a monitor showing these great media movies or old time photo after action reports? I would....if you do not want UM to add your entry to the page (if he does) please let me know so he can omit it. I respect privacy and ownership of your work....

You've done an excellent work motivating people Styx, the proof of this are the excellent and in some  cases mindblowing AAR's that have been generated by this contest.  It's also amazing the prizes you were able to get sponsoring parts contribute with to this cause.

And hopefully, in the end, this has brought a great spotlight on Strange Aeons gaming and the community here on LAF :)

I second what Anatoli wrote.

Without you I wouldn't have painted so many miniatures in a short time and now I can play with painted minis.
I wish I were an octopus to paint more miniatures...Cthulhu must be a great painter

Same here, I've never painted so many miniatures in my life and in such a short time. I refound the joy of painting and it's great to finishing a paintjob (before SA, I only finished one other miniature in my life...a Nurgle Blight Drone from Warhammer 40K). Thanks.

And I add my voice to the previous comments. This kind of contest is a great motivation for painting, making sceneries and what a pleasure to discover how each player express his own vision of the game. For all these reasons we do thank you Styx.

Everyone, thank you for the kind words. Makes everything I do worthwhile. Your hard work and cool ideas have really made this IMO a kick ass contest.

I have already added the polls (will add any other last minute submissions if any) by tomorrow. Feel free to start voting first thing tomorrow!

In the event I missed anyone  PLEASE PM me ASAP. There has been a great deal of chaos in my life with my mother-in-law and we just had someone pass away at work here that has made things a bit out of sorts.

As a voting reminder....anyone can vote...just pop over to my blog and vote! Even if you did not submit an entry! Tell everyone!

I can only echo what others have already said: Well done , styx!

I am another who has not painted so proficiently until I started my SA project, and I am really enjoying this project.
The contest has produced some top drawer AAR's.
Hat off to everyone who entered!

You could have done a single person game using the Morbid Adventure rules. To be honest, I have yet to play a one on one due to finding anyone interested here (or getting together with those interested as of yet...).

Uncle Mike, would you like to collect these and add them to the website? Figure it would be a good feature to have. You could even burn this on a CD and play at events to draw attention to the game at conventions and such...the movies and such are simply eye catching and I could only imagine walking past a booth and seeing a B&W old type movie sweep by.
