Shocking Tales
« on: 12 April 2012, 08:21:58 PM »
Dear Uncle Mike,

I'm a bit late to the Strange Aeons party, and am sad to have missed out on the two Shocking Tales issues you did. I want all of those new lurkers, damnit!  ;D

Any chance of a reprint in the future?

Ia Cthulhu,

David

Gibby, if you buy a copy of Morbid Adventures it has a complete Lurker Reference Guide and Combined Weapons table (from both Shocking Tales books) along with the revised tables/scenarios/quests....so your not out of luck on the Lurkers (it has the costs, stats and such just like the core rules but everything up to date).

The only things you won't get in the Shocking Tales books
Book 1: Promotion Chart, Animals, Special Branch (unique gear), Scenes of horror and some short stories..
Book 2: Theshold Declassified (new special agents), Black Dossier (Dinosaur adventure), Mob Rules, Q&A/FAQ, Some Short story stuff.

I managed to trade for mine, sometimes they turn up in the Bizzarre or Ebay, I think they are going to put them out in PDF or reprint them soon...

MA is a good book....as I said keep your eyes open, sometimes you can trade or buy a copy of Shocking Tales, if anything it should be back out one way or the other soon enough. I suggested they should bind them together into an annual.

Try Googling Shocking Tales. I found both of my copies at different hobby stores just by searching the web.

One miniature is too many, and a thousand are not enough...
