Foundry Demons
« on: 14 April 2012, 05:17:59 PM »
Know they might not be every ones cup of tea, but John Pickford's (and Kev Adams) "new" Foundry Demaons are now available.

And can't come as a surprise, that these here are my favourites:

Old school...? hell yes - just the way I like 'em :D

You're welcome.

I'm just happy I can finally get a few of them.

And I then spotted that the classic wargamesfoundry.com page list a:

DM005 - Golztariusbous The Ever Turning - http://wargamesfoundry.com/fantasy_ranges/single_packs/demons/any/golztariusbous_the_ever_turning_dm005/?sector_id=

that is not to be found on the new foundryfantasy.com??

No pictures, though - but think he could be one of John's as well.

Yeah, not my cup of tea. They look too cartoon-like to me. They are a damn sight better than the adventurers they released a few weeks back.

They would be ok if they weren't so expensive ... 16€ for 3 and even 4? It s so expensive.
For approximatively the same quality, less cartoony and so much cheaper, i will prefer the cp models ones:

4 for 5 pounds so approximatively 8€ -->50% cheaper.
Here you can see my stuffs!!!

Man, Clam, I know Pickford is your guy, but I don't know about these.  :? Though I know these are really old and don't reflect his current skill.

On an entirely different note the price is idiocy foundy for you.

:D

- like said not everybody's cup of tea

Oh and just to clarify, the DM001-DM004 "Orc Demons" ain't John's. As far as I know they are modified Naked War Orcs, originally done by Kev Adams (a very long time ago).

And yes, Pickford's sculpts seems to be draining my Wallet these days - but hey, these looks quite cheap - compared to what I have to pay for they next 5 miniatures coming ;)
